Based in the company’s Houston office, A. David Schwarz IV, CCIM, is a Vice President with Grandbridge Real Estate Capital. Mr. Schwarz began his career with the company as an Investment Analyst with Texas-based Live Oak Capital, Ltd. He was promoted to Senior Real Estate Analyst prior the firm’s acquisition by Grandbridge in December 2008.
Mr. Schwarz has nearly seven years of experience in the capitalization of all asset types including, but not limited to multifamily, student housing, office, retail, industrial, medical, condominium, land and self-storage properties. He is responsible for originating debt and equity transactions and arranging joint venture equity partnerships. During the course of his career with Grandbridge, he has been involved in the closing of more than $850,000,000 in debt placement, joint venture and investment sales transactions.
Prior to joining Live Oak Capital, Ltd., Mr. Schwarz worked as a Land Acquisition Specialist for a national homebuilder where he identified, analyzed, purchased and managed that company’s land acquisitions for residential developments throughout Houston, Texas.
A Houston native, Mr. Schwarz graduated from Baylor University in 2004 with a B.B.A in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. He has been designated as a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) by the CCIM Institute and has served on the board of the CCIM Houston/Gulf Coast Chapter since 2008. Currently, he serves as the 2012 CCIM Houston/Gulf Coast Chapter President Elect. He is an associate member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is also a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Texas.
