Vice President Brian T. McChesney is based in the company’s Louisville office.   He is responsible for all aspects of originating, structuring, and placing real estate debt and equity transactions for institutional and privately-held clients.  Mr. McChesney has more than 25 years of experience in the real estate finance and investment industry, involving more than $1.5 billion in transactions with nearly every category of income producing real estate.  His broad base of experience includes placing permanent, construction and bridge financing, as well as property acquisitions, equity placements and JV structures.

Prior to his association with Grandbridge, Mr. McChesney was a Senior Director with AEGON USA Realty Advisors in the commercial mortgage production group, and was directly responsible for sourcing and structuring new loan originations and managing a production team for over six years.  Previously, Mr. McChesney was a Senior Vice President, Acquisitions with Meridian Realty Investments.  Prior to that, he was a real estate banker in Louisville for 10 years with National City and PNC, and in those roles was very active in arranging construction and bridge loan financing for clients in Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina and Ohio.

A long-time resident of Louisville, Mr. McChesney earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Louisville and his Master of Business Administration degree from Golden Gate University.  Following graduation from the University of Louisville, he served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force as a flight crew member for six years, flying the FB-111A.
