Craig V. Kegg serves as a vice president of Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, one of the country’s leading full-service commercial mortgage banking firms. Established in 2007, Grandbridge Real Estate Capital is a wholly-owned subsidiary of BB&T Corporation (NYSE: BBT); one of the largest financial services holding companies in the U. S.

In his role as Vice President, Mr. Kegg manages the relationships associated with a diverse group of capital and equity providers while assisting with the day-to-day business operations of the Columbus Office which continues to grow annually in production volume and fee revenue.

Mr. Kegg participates directly in the sourcing and structuring of all forms of debt and equity. During his career Mr. Kegg has worked with both institutional and non-institutional clients. He has been instrumental in the financing of over 200 commercial real estate transactions whose aggregate finance balance exceeds $2.25 billion. Clients served include Berkshire Realty Holdings, Lexington Properties Trust, Sterling University Housing, Vornado Realty Trust, Continental Communities, the Kushner Companies, Steiner & Associates, Nationwide Realty Investors, Continental Real Estate Companies, Archon Group, L.P. and Hines.

Prior to joining Grandbridge, Mr. Kegg was involved as a vice president within the Debt Capital Raising Group of Banc of America Securities, the investment banking subsidiary of Bank of America. While working for the firm, he was involved in the sourcing, structuring and underwriting of commercial real estate transactions, the aggregation and due diligence associated with securitization including rating agency and b-piece buyer exchanges and the ultimate sale of the securities comprising the firms commercial mortgage backed securities offerings. Mr. Kegg was a United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registered broker-dealer.

Mr. Kegg is actively involved with the Urban Land Institute both as a member of the Columbus District Council and as Vice Chair of its Membership Committee. Currently, Mr. Kegg serves as a member of the Leadership Nominating Committee for the Central Division of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is a past member of the ICSC Ohio/ West Virginia state leadership. He has been a lecturer and speaker for the Appraisal Institute, the ICSC, the Columbus Board of Realtors and various other real estate associated organizations and groups.
