Based in the company's Dallas office, Jason Rice is responsible for commercial real estate loan production for all major income-producing property types and client development. Prior to joining Grandbridge he served as a Director with Quantum First Capital, a real estate finance and advisory firm specializing in providing a reliable source of funds from the capital markets. Additionally, Mr. Rice was involved with the firm's Team Transactions and oversight of loan process and due diligence through closing for all deals. Mr. Rice has personally originated and participated in the closing of over $2 billion in real estate financings nationwide.

Prior to joining Quantum First Capital, Mr. Rice was with WMF Askew, the Dallas mortgage banking affiliate of Washington Mortgage Financial Group. While with WMF Askew, he served as an Analyst in the underwriting department and participated in the origination of more than $200 million in loans committed with various life companies and securitized lenders. His experience spans various product types including apartments, retail, office and hotels as well as working on equity transactions.

He began his real estate career in 1997 with RFG Financial in New York City, which was one of the first commercial conduits on Wall Street specializing in retail and office. Mr. Rice participated in the underwriting and origination of more than $100 million of securitized real estate transactions while at RFG Financial.

Mr. Rice earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Oklahoma at Norman, Oklahoma. He is a member of the Greater Dallas-Tarrant County Apartment Association, the Dallas Mortgage Banker Association, International Council of Shopping Centers and the Texas Real Estate Council.
