Michael B. Goorvich
Senior Vice President | Product Manager - Insurance Companies

As a senior vice president with Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, Mr. Goorvich is responsible for the maintenance and growth of the company’s relationships with its insurance company lenders. In this role, he ensures consistent communication and interfacing with these third-party capital sources and Grandbridge’s 26 production offices. His perspective as an industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience, complemented by his prior investor relationship expertise, allows him to professionally and proactively manage and expand Grandbridge’s relationships with this key lending constituency.

Prior to his current leadership role with Grandbridge, Mr. Goorvich served as a senior vice president with Anglo Irish Bank in Chicago, where he was responsible for new loan origination, asset management and staffing.

Previously, Mr. Goorvich was a senior vice president and managing director of the Mortgage Banking Group at Capmark Finance, Inc. While at Capmark he was responsible for national investor relations, supporting loan origination activity with the company’s insurance company correspondents. He also served as head of the Institutional Investor Business Unit where he was responsible for servicing $14 billion in loans on behalf of 40 institutional investors.

Managing relationships has always played an integral role in Mr. Goorvich’s career. He was an executive vice president with Baird & Warner, Inc., a Chicago-based, full-service real estate company focused on commercial and multifamily property financing, leasing and management. He began his career as a mortgage lender with The Great-West Life Assurance Co., in Winnipeg, Canada.

Mr. Goorvich is a graduate of the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Arts Honors Degree in economics. His continuing education includes a certificate in Advanced Management Development in Real Estate from Harvard University.
