As a Vice President in the Kansas City office of Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, Michael R. Dunn is responsible for the origination of debt and equity financing for commercial real estate throughout the Midwest and western United States.

Involved in the commercial mortgage banking industry since 1985, Mr. Dunn began his career as a commercial loan officer, managing a $200 million-plus commercial construction loan portfolio at a Kansas CIty savings and loan before joining the company in 1989.

Mr. Dunn has extensive experience in the origination, structuring and placement of debt on virtually every income-producing property type, including office, medical office, industrial, mini-warehouse, multifamily, retail and hospitality. Transactions closed include permanent financing (forward commitments and immediate fundings), construction financing, bridge financing, mezzanine financing and equity placement. He has also arranged the acquisition and disposition of commercial properties on behalf of his clients. Mr. Dunn is a repeat recipient of BB&T’s coveted Sterling Performance Club award for superior performance in client service and loan production.

Mr. Dunn earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Iowa and has completed numerous real estate and Mortgage Bankers Association courses. He is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and an associate CCIM member. He holds real estate licenses in Kansas and Missouri.
