Mr. Clikas is an Assistant Vice President with Grandbridge Real Estate Capital LLC and is based in the company’s Birmingham, Ala., office. Mr. Clikas joined the company in February 2007. He is responsible for commercial real estate loan production for all major income-producing property types.

During his career Mr. Clikas has facilitated a granular mix of companies, spanning from REITs and funds to regional and local developers, achieve their debt and equity needs. He has extensive experience in the origination, structuring, placement and closing of a variety of major income-producing property types, some of which include industrial, office, medical office, retail, mix-use, hospitality, seniors housing, and multifamily properties (conventional, affordable, and student). He has executed capital structures that include permanent financing (forward commitments and immediate fundings), construction financing, bridge financing, mezzanine financing, agency financing (FHA, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac), lines of credit, and equity placement. As a compliment to his financial expertise he also has experience in structuring joint venture opportunities, as well as executing commercial real estate sales.

Mr. Clikas began his career in 2003 with AmSouth Bank (which later merged with Regions Bank). During his tenure with AmSouth he was a member of the bank’s Corporate Management Associate Program, a commercial real estate analyst, and a loan officer responsible for originating and serving the financial needs of existing and prospective commercial real estate clients.

Mr. Clikas received his Bachelor of Science in Financial Planning and Business Investment Analysis from the University of Alabama. He also holds an active real estate license in the state of Alabama, and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). He is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Alabama CCIM Chapter, the Birmingham Commercial Real Estate Club, and aJunior Executive Board member of the American Cancer Society.
