WASHINGTON, D.C. — The CCIM Institute has awarded L. Patrick Brown, III, a real estate analyst with Grandbridge Real Estate Capital LLC, the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. Brown was among the more than 240 commercial real estate professionals who earned the designation by passing the Institute’s Comprehensive Examination, the final element in the designation process. Less than one percent of commercial real estate professionals in the world hold the CCIM designation.

The CCIM designation is awarded to commercial real estate professionals upon successful completion of a graduate-level education curriculum and presentation of a portfolio of qualifying industry experience. The curriculum addresses financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis and investment analysis—the cornerstones of commercial investment real estate. CCIMs are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis.

“Patrick completed the CCIM education and experience requirements in a relatively short period of time—all while maintaining his work responsibilities. We congratulate him on achieving this coveted designation. We know the learning process, the designation itself, and his interaction with other CCIMs from across the country have added to Patrick’s commercial real estate foundation and have enhanced his future with Grandbridge,” said Carl T. Olzawski, senior vice president and office manager of Grandbridge’s Washington, D.C. office.
